The problem is that Obama drew the wrong line in the sand. His line should have been "If Assad uses weapons, chemical or otherwise, to kill Americans, it will change my calculus." That should be the line for every US president.

Nah man, you gotta draw the line at chemical and biological weapons. It's not about the amount killed, it's simply the precedent. It won't cost us anything to lob a few cruise missiles at assad just to show you will suffer for using the weapons.
