Good on you, Hurf, for not falling into generalizations, stereotypes or racial judgements naturally.. but I am not capable of doing that.
I can recognize that they are stereotypes, I can see clearly enough that every individual needs to be treated as such, not treated as a member of whatever race, but as just another human being. But that isn't my instinct, as it appears to be yours. I catch myself making all sorts of judgements based at least tentatively on race (although body language and the clothes a person wears also play a big role). I think I've done a good job training myself out of it, but still, it's there.
