GOP Really Has Become Party of Insanity

The House today agrees to pass a CR that defunds Obamacare. What a waste of time. What's going to happen is the Senate will pass the CR and remove the defunding of Obamacare and send it back. At which point the house will have to pass the CR without defunding Obamacare or let a shutdown.

Which makes this move a waste of more time.

The GOP has 2 options. Cave or shut down gov't/default on debt (technically 3 options but you get the idea). There's no other way around this. The Senate and Obama are not defunding, delaying, or whatever to Obamacare. It's going live on Oct 1st and taking effect on January 1st and that is f**k that. And shutting down the gov't doesn't stop it and neither will a default.

All those things will do is hurt people needlessly. A default could send the world into another recession. I'd like to believe Boehner won't allow it. he's not a moron and he's not that bad of a person. He is trying to placate the crazies but they're delaying the inevitable. Just rip the f**k band-aid off already.

They've fooled and lied to their constituents and even rank and file so much they've gotten to the point where they don't know how to abandon them. I await with glee this ultimate destruction of the party but am fearful of the harm it may cause (in addition to the harm already done) in the process.

Just today a poll was released that showed a majority of Republicans want a gov't default on the debt even though they understand it would be dangerous.

These people are not to be negotiated with. They are not to be acknowledged. These people are economic terrorists and must be done away with.

The GOP is the sideshow, and the Democrats are the hand that does what it wants while people make outraged forum posts about the sideshow.
