Could someone explain to me what it means that the GOP delinked the food stamp program from the annual farm bill? Does that mean agribusiness will still get government subsidies while the poor are the only real targets here?

$40 Billion over ten years guys...that's $4 Billion a year.
This is hardly the GOP making a proposal that's worth a damn or even a step in the right direction. It's a crawl further impacted by both legs being dragged as they use their upper body strength to push forward.
This isn't bold, this isn't new, and this isn't realistically effective or intelligent.
Instead of providing alternatives to Obamacare that reside within the realm of reality we have the House passing budgetary bills made for the lands of unicorns and fanciful fairies. Instead of working to improve average American's social mobility we have cuts to government programs and HUGE subsidies funneled to multinational conglomerates.
Eat your heart out GOP.
