You do realize, right, that not everybody agrees with you that this is a bad thing? You make it seem like the entire country is against the idea.
But if you're to be believed, this guy threw his economic credentials out the window because the only thing that mattered to him was being a "progressive" (and since when did progressive become a dirty word, BTW?).
