You remain incorrect. They say holidays because there are literally multiple holidays centered around the ancient winter solstice and to specifically reference Christmas not knowing if one is communicating with another Christian or not is psychotic. Only lunatics wandering the streets with cardboard signs and ignorant extremists do any such thing. If an adult goes around saying Merry Christmas to random strangers, that is pathological. It is perfectly analogous to wandering around saying Happy Birthday to random strangers on one's own birthday. It makes no sense. Such an individual should be placed within a straight jacket. Normal, considerate adults either say happy holidays or nothing at all.
Furthermore, genuine Christians follow the teachings of Jesus and he was quite explicit that one shouldn't make a public spectacle of one's personal faith.
