Well, coaching matters a lot in football where not so much in other sports. As does a QB these days. If you have a good QB and a good coach, you're going to do decent at least.
Also, KC had a lot of talent last season. Honestly, probably the most talent ever for an under 4 win NFL team. They had multiple pro-bowlers!
Atlanta isn't the same team as last year on defense or on the O-line, so that comparison isn't as good. They have the same skill position players (plus SJax) on offense, but everything else has drastically changed and their D is awful as a result (Oline ain't good either). They really have no pass rush to speak of.
