Well, there aren't many good defenses in the AFC.

Jets
Bengals (when healthy)
Browns

That's about it. They'll get KC twice, at least.

Denver is favored by 28 (!) against Jax this week. Largest line in NFL history. I would be scared to bet that one.

Hilarious that the Browns are on top of the AFC North. They really just need a good QB.

The Jets legitimately won last night. Granted they were up 27-14 at one point and blew the lead, but then came back and won. Either Geno Smith is evolving or Atlanta just sucks.

Atalanta sucks, especially their defense. Matt Ryan is putting up very, very nice stats, but it is all getting wasted on a completely shit defense.

The parity in the NFL now is really making the game kind of crazy. With many, many teams there really isn't a huge difference being 3-13 and then picking up a player or 2 and becoming 13-3... And vise versa, losing 1-2 players and going from 12-4 to 3-13..

KC is a perfect example.. There were 2-14 last year. They pick up a good QB, and coach and boom, now they're 5-0.. The other side is Atlanta. 13-3 last year.. Some injuries this year and they're 1-4..

Well, coaching matters a lot in football where not so much in other sports. As does a QB these days. If you have a good QB and a good coach, you're going to do decent at least.

Also, KC had a lot of talent last season. Honestly, probably the most talent ever for an under 4 win NFL team. They had multiple pro-bowlers!


Atlanta isn't the same team as last year on defense or on the O-line, so that comparison isn't as good. They have the same skill position players (plus SJax) on offense, but everything else has drastically changed and their D is awful as a result (Oline ain't good either). They really have no pass rush to speak of.

And then you have the Pats who are just now about to get Gronk back.

Da Bears are only a so-so team, BUT they do love to go after the opposing QB..
