Luck is the real deal.. Barring injury he should be an elite in 3 years or so.. On the Rodgers/Brady level. But I do get the feeling though that Mr.Manning is going to take the young Mr. Luck to school next week..

But being that the game is in Indy, and the NFL being crazy this year, who the hell knows.

Man, Luck's teammates really f**k him up tonight. All those drops. The TE had a 50 yard TD in his hands, too.

SD showed the best way to beat a good offensive team with a good QB.. Don't let them have the ball.. SD had twice the ToP as Indy.. SD had one long drive after another, so all Luck could do was stand on the sideline and watch..

Over my many years as a sports fan and following the constant give and take between owners and players, and the constant stupidity from both side IMO the players have usually been in one way or the other dumber..

But sometimes even though the owners are all rich, successful men who one must presume are smart, the reality is they all ain't smart either..

Irsay gave one of the dumbest, and classless interviews in the history of sports. The Colts were a joke of a franchise before Manning showed up. There was even rumors they were going to move, yet again. It can almost be said Manning saved that franchise, or at least keep it in Indy.... For Irsay to even imply he's disappointed they didn't win more SB's with Manning there is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard a public figure say. The Colts were a joke for years, and even after Manning played for them year after year they made the playoffs INSPITE of the weak Colt defense.. Yet Irsay shows no respect, or gratitude for what Manning did for that franchise..

I don't blame Irsay or the Colts for letting Manning go.. With a QB like Luck there to draft the obvious choice was to let Manning go a turn the team over to Luck..

But for Irsay to now trash him is beyond classless.
