When you can't sell across state lines, no it's not. Car insurance is very competitive, and thus I can get great coverage at great rates because of it.

Uh supply and demand. If there is a much larger supply of providers, the demand for any given provider is lower thus prices come down.

Because when you answer his question, he moves the goalposts over about 8-10 feet and then makes a snide remark about how you were wrong if you take into account his goalpost movement. It's like trying to swat a fly with a stick pin.
