I can handle the comments, I understand, but being rude is not helping this situation.
I''d like to get some honest opinions, not useless sarcastic rambling.
To re-outline some of my ideas:
1. The Radio Show: It's a unique feature that most forums, if not all, don't have. Furthermore, it would be hosted by the members, not staff.
2. The Member Committee: This is another idea that many don't have. If you saw my other forum, it was not something that was visible to all, it was a social group in which members were invited. Through this, members are given the opportunity to get down the heart of the problems in the forum.
3.The Switch to VB: I find that this is essential to the growth of the forum, many, many, many people, especially older forum users are familiar with VB, 3.8 or 4.0, and it appeals to them.
4. Blogging: I'd like to eventually set up where members can have their own forum blogs, along with the main blog, which I also do have.
Those were some of my ideas, they may not be the best, but these unique features aren't found anywhere, and I think that a politics forum has a common genre, yet features that set it apart from the rest.
I'd also be willing to hear anything else.
Now, I ask that we can post the problems with any of this, instead of attacking it.
