Amazing, simply amazing, how many insta-experts suddenly appeared on this who are going to lecture us all on what REALLY happened with the meltdown and, ya know, that's the long and short of it. The banks were loaned TARP money and paid it back and that's all they took and since they paid it back there's really nothing to talk about anymore. Everything was above-board and why, why, anybody can see that!

Let's ask our expert friend here: in all seriousness, what measures have been put in place to prevent this from happening again? Also, do you know how much wealth they erased not from just the U.S. but the world? Do you think that TARP was merely a bill for the extent of that, like a hotel bill after you trashed the room and since they, you know, "paid" it, we're square?
