Droning people is just kind of a dick move but it's the kind of dick move you can sort of relate to. Military commanders don't have to give their sympathies to th grieving mothers, widows and children of civilians in Pakistan who got caught in the drone crossfire. If they sent troops in to get the job done and something goes wrong it's a different story.
Out of site, out of mind is not morally justifiable really but it's human nature.
