I'm not reading the whole thread but honestly, the ACA was a good idea that was poorly implemented. I honestly don't like it at all and think things need to go back to how they were with some minor improvements. Baby steps.
The government should not be running our health care. FFS people, we're talking about the US government here! They can't run the post office. They can't operate the DPS/DMV efficiently. Hell, they couldn't even do the "Cash for Clunkers" program properly and we think that they are somehow, this isn't going to turn into a huge effin mess? Well, its off to a great start...
We should be outraged that the taxpayers have paid for this whole system and its in the current state it is in. There's absolutely no reason this system should be running as poorly as it is with as much money as was spent on it. And now? Its the usual way the Democrats think to fix problems - "Well, lets just throw more money at it and see where that gets us!"
Its seemingly the answer they always throw at everything - "Add more money. That'll fix it!"
le sigh.
