Just like by wiping out Iraq we made Iran the regional superpower and set off a f***-all civil war in Iraq that killed at least 100,000 Iraqis (while we lost 4,400+ there).

Our record on Mideast or Eastern Asia interventions absolutely blows.

I don't think it's fair to say "they" lost 100,000 and "we" lost 4,400. It belittles the deaths for both.

I think both numbers are horrible. 4,400 is astounding but 100,000 is just mind-blowing.
