Spain is less stable than people assume. They have two regional separatist movements, a large group of radical leftists and groups of people who still think things were better under Franco.
All this in a country with 20%+ unemployment 40%+ youth unemployment, a large influx of immigrants from the ME and Africa, a floundering economy and governments with a history of corruption in a highly unequal and non-mobile society.
