Deciding between Britain and America as to who is the more racists is a bit of a pointless exercise. Yes we have the BNP who are probably more powerful than the KKK, but then again you have the Tea Party who are probably more powerful than UKIP. Neither of us are post racial societies and by most statistics minorities are at some sort of disadvantage. However, whether you can link this to other sources other than race alone (poverty, education level etc etc) remains up for debate. The woman's example in the video about white people being served before black people, is not something that I've ever even heard of happening here never mind something that I've experienced.
At the same time, the methods used by the woman in charge seem (as I think Com said earlier) stuck in the 60's. Times have changed in both countries.
With much of the racism that supposedly goes on in Western Europe (such as the French example) it's more an anti-islam thing than a racial thing (which is a debate I really don't want to re-ignite).
