To be fair, our laws shouldn't be so complicated we have to create and pay (highly apparently) an entire class of people to study the laws and argue on your behalf.

I don't really know what makes you people think that lawyers are worth anything, let alone worth these 6 figure salaries they are all trying to go to school for. Basically glorified philosophy majors. And philosophy is much more useful.

Also, MBAs aren't really dead. It's just those dorks that go to business school, then go straight to an MBA. People who actually work, have a profession, then get their MBA are doing just fine.

Speaking of overpaid professions though, f**k doctors and med school. Easy $200,000 to go to school. A lot of recent grads are having a hard time landing positions b/c boomers.

Anyway, paying doctors $150k from the start, then they expect to be making $200k+, and for what? Why do we need 3 doctors running a small clinic and looking at bumps and scrapes? Stupid.

Some engineering isn't even safe these days. I've read that aerospace and chemical engineers are having a somewhat difficult time. It used to be you could just walk out of school and right into a job, but try that without a co-op, and you'll find yourself looking for a job for the next 6 months. Also, apparently mechanical engineering students are just taking those jobs anyway.

I wonder how badly those numbers have been manipulated. Our government loves to create imaginary profits using accounting practices they'd never allow corporations to use. Also important, how many dollars in loans did they make this $43B on? How many will never be repaid?
