Don't see any problem with the Super Bowl being in a cold weather city with an outdoor stadium. Pro football players should be ready to play in all weather. The real fans of the two teams who are lucky enough to have tickets will be too stoked to care about the cold. The only people who this hurts are the douches who aren't even there for the game and just go because it's the Super Bowl.

It's the Superbowl, people will worry about frostbite and the flu later on.

I love watching football games when they are playing in the snow..

But the SB? I don't know, neither team can play their best when the conditions are cold, or snow, etc.. 40+ years they've always tried to have the best conditions for the game. I am a little surprised they went away from that this year. It's not earth shattering, and like I said personally I'd like to see a snowy SB.. But I can understand the concern by others.

If they're both playing in the same conditions I'm fine with it. If you like watching snow games normally why not in the bowl? While the hype is obviously greatly heightened, they are still playing the exact same game that is played every Sunday all regular season.



Edit: and bonus, the snow might be able to screw up the halftime show which would be awesome.

Of course both teams will be playing in the same conditions, BUT if Pitt plays Miami(just an example) in 15 degree weather Pitt will have a big advantage.. If it's a regular season game, so what? Who cares? Even if it is a playoff game, that's what home field advantage is in the playoffs, that's what suppose to happen..

But in the SB it suppose to be a level playing field. Maybe it still will be, it can easily be 50 degrees and sunny. With Seattle and Denver as the teams.. So weather or an advantage won't matter.

As a niner fan, I felt bad for the Washington team last night. RGIII looks like he just wants to go home and rest. His Oline is a complete mess and their defense is atrocious.

Thank god Crabtree is finally coming back because the Niners receivers outside of Davis and Boldin are the worst in the entire league. Did you know that if you remove running backs/fulls backs and Davis and Boldin, niner receivers have caught like 30 balls total this year. And one of them, Kyle Williams, was released. Manningham has played 3 games and he already has the 2nd most WR/TE catches after Boldin/Davis on the team with 8 (who is still with the team). Ugh.

Davis and Boldin are also the only 2 receivers to catch a TD this year for the team (all 13 of them). They need Crabtree in the worst way. Their WR2-4 has been so bad that it's killed their offense.

All day long I've read and heard that Griffin 'isn't the same QB he was in the past'... LOL... Like the guy had a stellar 10 year career before this year.. He had 6-7 good games last year.. You know maybe, JUST maybe this year we're seeing the real Griffin and last year those 6-7 games was the aberration?

His offense isn't that good, but even when he has time he misses wide open receivers or makes terrible decisions, like he did on his Int. last night. It was a blitz, and there was a back wide open right in front of him, but he throws the ball down-field where it was picked off.

He's a major part of the Redskins problem this year.. Not the only problem, but a big problem.
