Finite world + Population growth + expanding automation + NAFTA = Fleamarket economy. And we still don't give a ratsassdamm about the difference between enough, excess, and absured excess.

By most metrics, I'm one of the last Gen Xers. Because I'm so close to being a Millennial, I have many of their characteristics, also. I've never NOT had a computer (first one was an Apple IIe, purchased in 1985). I never researched anything in a library. I was online in 1993. Among some of the more nebulous characteristics, I'm very open to change (in fact, I enjoy it), not very religious, and more liberal than my parents.
