Holy crap, that was painful to watch. Not like the Saints did bad. Well, I mean, not like they had 15 turnovers, or something as obvious. They simply didn't do anything. Let whats-his-name Hawks running back get 4-5 yards every time he touched the ball. Let Wilson throw complete passes for 8-9 yards whenever he wanted, with an occasional 30+ yarder in there. All while Brees would throw 1-2 yard screen passes, which were immediately tackled.
One bright spot - I found out that I liked Wilson. Saw a few pre-game interviews with him. FINALLY, a young player with his head screwed on right. No trash talking, no crap - just, "I analyze my game every week, identify weak spots, then work on them until I eliminate them." I like that kid!
Still hate Pete Carroll, though. Jeez, that was a bitter pill to swallow.

It's really no secret though.. It's been the Saints MO for a few years now. In Dec. and Jan. if they got to play outside up north they're in trouble.

fun thought. Seattle was in the AFC until 2001. In this season of predicted "NFC dominance" it's good to know that the likely superbowl match-up will feature 2 AFC teams.
