If the GOP want to take back relevancy, they really need to completely reverse their social positions. Instead of legislating morality and living immorally, they need to embrace the idea of legislating amorally and living morally.
That is, you can be against abortion personally and still recognize the necessity to keep it a free choice in society. You can believe it is a sin for a person in your particular religion to be homosexual, but recognize that everyone isn't in your particular religion or may have a different interpretation of your particular religion.
