Talking to Medius. He always goes on and on about freedom, but only theoretical freedom that doesn't actually make anyone more free.
Like requiring businesses to serve homos, or make your establishment accessible... it "infringes" upon peoples freedom, when actually, IRL, it has freed hundreds of thousands of people. He doesn't care about that - all he cares about is the idea of freedom, rather than actual, on the ground freedom.
I have the right to refuse to serve niggers, versus I have the right to go about my business and get service regardless of your personal feelings about me, my colour, my sexual orientation, whatever. Theoretical versus substantive freedom.
