I know for certain that wait times at California DMVs were cut by two-thirds between 2007-2010. Instead of one hour, it was twenty minutes average. I'll have to find that link.

I think every rational person agrees that single payer is the superior healthcare system. That said, this involves substantially greater govermment involvement - how do you reconcile your support of single payer with your statements about government efficiency, ueber?

Well define "involvement." The gov't--correct me if I'm wrong--is essentially cutting checks and negotiating rates and... what am I missing?
