Idk I bet they think they could. They are pretty delusional. Regardless they'll take Seoul and probably level most of it. It just can't be prevented. If it could we would have bombed them by now.

That's assuming the North Koreans don't just rush in one day. How long do you think it's going to take them to go 50 miles? They have a large guerrilla force, underground networks we don't know about, etc..... I don't think it would be too difficult for them to rush in with 100k troops and just f**k that place up, + artillery. They don't need tanks to get into a city and just start shooting people to death.
