Yeah because that's how every pregnancy works. There aren't people in committed relationships, or would form them based on having a child or anything.
Women know the risks. If they don't want to have a child, they need to protect themselves against that possibility.

Both of you are wrong. Darkhorse is just going on a feminism tirade. This is clearly biased against the guy. Trying to argue otherwise is just absurd. But men should not be able to get off the hook because they don't want the children. It would effectively abolish the entire child support system, as even the stupidest man would realize there is nothing to lose by simply saying you don't want the kid. I think in the aggregate the child support system does tremendous good for millions of children in this country. Can't abolish that in good conscience, and it would be bad policy regardless. So yes this is unfair, but it's the best among bad options.
