Sorry, but if the NK citizens don't want to stop this, why should we?
Think about it for a sec. Back in 1770, British colonists were mostly fed up with English rule. We were on the brink of revolution. But, what would have happened had France invaded the US in order to "liberate" us? While there's a good chance the colonials would have sided with the French and revolted, there is also a VERY good chance that the colonials, not yet on the brink of revolution (that would come 6 years hence), would have coalesced around the English to defend our "homeland".
No more "moral" wars.
However, if the UN wants to form a coalition to liberate NK, then I'm OK with the US providing the equal to the average contribution for such a force. Say, perhaps, 3000 troops and 100 aircraft.
