Let's put some numbers out there. I think we're ready.

I checked out the Ontario governments online child support estimate tool. A parent who makes $50,000 a year is estimated to pay $450 a month in child support. That is actually less than what I pay for my car payment and insurance every month.

Do you think a custodial parent does enough labour in a month to earn $450? This includes preparing food for the kid, going grocery shopping, and all the mundane tasks that come with parenthood.

Paying is the least part of it.

You seem to be suggesting that fathers shouldn't help support their children if they don't want to. That is the only morally repugnant argument I see here.

Women bear just as much responsibility because they knew the risk going in but when it comes to abortion the elected choice is her's and her's alone not because of some arbitrary legal definition but because females give f**k birth, not males. The dynamic, the choice you have set up, is a false one because the only person with a choice is her by NATURE.

When a man chooses to have sex he is acknowledging THAT FUNDAMENTAL FACT. He is acquiescing the resulting choice exactly because it is not his to make. There is clearly no hypocritical act when you support a woman's right to choose and abortion itself. They go hand in hand. Why would there be?

If the woman had the ability to suppress pregnancy altogether, fine maybe that makes more sense. But she f**k doesn't, so stop acting like you're being oppressed as a man in this engagement.
