I actually really like my idea of sterilizing males who refuse to pay child support. It makes total sense. Since the woman is required to either abort a child she wants because she can't afford it on her own OR take full financial responsibility for the child, does it not follow that the man should face penalties for being one half of the child birth equation?
Sterilize them and allow them not to pay. After all, if they had simply sterilized themselves, there would be no child, just like if the woman had aborted the child. And since people can be punished for not doing something against their will, why not extend this to men and women alike?
A fine compromise, and a step forward for true gender equality.
