Christianity has had this wealth issue for 1700 years. We argued about it in the past and we still argue about it. (if you haven't watch/read In the Name of the Rose)
In law school I had my own little run in with that conflict a group of us were looking into applying for the Blackstone Fellowship:

It's a group that pays for law students to intern with "Christian" causes (mostly political christian conservative stuff). The Fellowship training was hosted over the summer at the Ritz-Carlton Luxury resort in Arizona. It raised my eye-brows, the lutheran's eye-brows, and some of the catholics. The evangelicals saw no problem with that.
