also i just realize that article lists rocket artillery as "the most powerful gun in the world" and lists the 1970s developed kuksan as the most powerful as well. lol. rocket artillery is not a gun, and the kuksan is not the most powerful. shit, south africa has it's own SPG that can fire 6 shells in under a minute to land on targets simultaneously.

they have clusters of 36 pieces of shit around the DMZ, most of which is out of range of seoul. artillery guns that have no gun encasement that sit, 365 days a year, for the last few decades, half buried in the dirt. and let's remember that, of their artillery pieces, the kuksan and a select few of their rocket artillery are the only things capable of reaching seoul.

If there is any fighting between the two Koreas Seoul will be f**k, even using WWII surplus that would be true. Artillery is not very complicated and is fairly easy to maintain. And they have a lot of it.

It's just situated in a indefensible spot, as far as this situation is concerned.

And one factor that is not being recounted here is the constant harassment by SK and US forces. NK is in a high state of alert at all times because of the constant military exercises the US and SK uses as a method of intimidation.

The entire story is not being told by this thread or the US media. Yeah, NK is f**k up but it takes two to tango and we are pretty f**k up too. The truth is we are doing a lot to initiate a conflict and NK is scared shitless of US invasion. Their dealing with us are basically the only avenue they have available to them because we have their back up against a wall and the only thing holding us back is the fact that Seoul will be flattened.

SK don't want unification of Korea.... Neither does Japan, or China.. NK is a failure and a complete basket-case, no one wants to take care of the mess that is NK if Korea became one. The cost of rebuilding and taking care of NK if there was a reunification would be tremendous.. The costs to the Sk taxpayers, a skyrocketed unemployment rate, and absorbing 1 million+ NK uneducated and brainwashed NK soldiers would be astronomical.. No one wants that.

If NK falls peacefully ala East Germany that's one thing, but saying SK or the US is trying to start a war with NK, or invade NK to force reunification is laughable.
