NK would get demolished one way or another. There is no way that China, the US, or any member of the international community would let them win, none whatsoever.
It is just bad policy. "Hey, a nuclear armed dictatorship just attacked and annexed a country, NBD." That alone rules out the possibility of this happening, let alone considering the fact that nobody wants a unified Korea.

the fact that his uncle took over some of the wealthiest industries in NK and started a gun fight between his supporters and the NK army says a lot about the stability of the current regime.
