Is feminism becoming an obsolete movement?

I understand there are a lot of different possible scenarios. That said, under the current system a woman can do terrible things to her husband, run down a road of drugs and creating an unsafe environment, to the point that the man reluctantly leaves and takes the kid. Then take him to court, take away custody, make false accusations, take him for tons of child support that isn't spent on the child, and leave him with nothing but a monthly reminder of the child he used to have. This happened. It is not altogether rare. I'd say that's a broken system. Even if the system gets some dead-beat dads to pay up, it isn't worth the cost.

All of these ridiculous laws and egregious court battles where even hearsay is accepted as evidence illustrates why child care is an outdated concept for all situations short of contracted agreements.

Furthermore the trivialization of women committing violence against men is a sad reflection of our time. Emerald insisted that she doesn't believe women commit the same amount of physical violence as men many pages back despite the evidence: http://www.dailyfinance.com/2010/01/30/ ... ing-probl/.

When we have a society that fails boys in the school system only to turn up in larger unemployment and suicide studies than their vagina-gifted peers, it really says a lot about why feminism - a movement iconic for pushing women's rights - is not of interest to activist men.
