Yeah the neighboring countries don't care about the Palestinians much at all but they'll use it as an issue to come after Israel. And Israel should realize that's more of a threat to them than the Palestinians themselves. It's in their best interest to give Palestine a state but their domestic politics make that difficult. Netanyahu's coalition government includes some extreme right wingers who he needs support from to stay in power.

Israel is worse, obviously.

The article in the OP states there are 1.5 mil Arabs in Israel now.. If the population is of Israel is 7 mil, that means there's 5.5-6 mil Jews in Israel.. 5 mil RoR Palestinians plus 1.5 Arabs in Israel mean the Jews would instantly become a minority..
