If I can add on one more thing--the total lack of interest in the NSA thing--which should be a cause for rioting in the streets--tells me things are going to get way worse before they ever get better.

If that draws a yawn of course something like Wall St. is a non-starter.

Then again, let's not leave out how the media has abandoned all pretense of keeping our gov't honest (on the national level at least--on the local level, strangely, it's still happening).

The American voting public is by and large too apathetic to make any real change at this point. I am a capitalist, but having and bought and paid for government is not good for our nation. Federalism IMO can work in 2014, however the fed has exceeded the size where federalism can be effective and co-exist with fifty state governments within our republic.
