doubt it. adjusting for general contextual factors such as opportunity i'm guessing infedility rates are pretty much the same now as ever. also hard to gain data from back when for a host of reasons and i'm guessing there's pretty substantial under-reporting from surveys back when when due to harsher attitudes toward cheating and greater consequences for women.
plus monogamy isn't exactly the rule when you broaden the scope to human existence. so it seems like you're pining for a very specific set of norms that we may or may not have held a few generations ago (such date being arbitrarily selected and limited to a pretty specific geographic location).
