It's just a policy position. Deciding that prosecuting marijuana users isn't the best use of resources doesn't require human emotion. In fact, supporting current policy has to come from an appeal to emotion since it isn't very logical.

I don't think I'm going to find 2016 as hilarious as 2012. The running gag of GOP loons has grown stale to me. Cranking it up a few notches isn't likely to make it funny again, at least I don't think.

A bunch of people with no chance of winning will run for the repubs just to boost their image and popularity in their congressional districts. Very astute ploy.
