Not when companies from the west have to compete with those from the east. If not for outsourcing labor most western tech companies would have been wiped out by now.

Can't compete against a price advantage. Not for long anyways. What do we do? Ban the cheap imports from our shores? Tariff the hell out of it and have our own exports tariffed and rejected in turn?

Only way to deal with China is for the US and EU to band together, stop doing business with them, and kick the legs out from under their export economy. It would damage everyone, of course, but for a little longer anyways we still have a position where they need to trade us their crap for our money worse than we need to trade our money for their crap. We can go quite a while without cheap consumer goods. They can't go for anywhere near as long without our money.

I vote for the government getting the f**k out of the way and stop the never ending trend of higher taxes and margin destroying regulations.

Seriously, minimum wage wouldnt even be in the universe of compassionate ideas if businesses were able to operate without exposing its rear end to some ABC agency and ask permission to wipe. These very same agencies have proven to protect big business and eliminate its competition, enforcing an environment of outsourcing to serve the transnational trade agreements drawn up by monopoly men.

At what point does reality set in and the fact that the owners of these protection rackets (most call them countries) are failing the masses on purpose? I mean a lot of people are coming around to this, but more often then not its this half assed notion that its simple negligence and not a march towards a vertically integrated society meant to channel the power to the top.

Scale back the state, currently it is literally eating itself!... ...oh thats right, if it cant be easily be seen while peering through the overton window its better to be ignor(e)ant of the incontrovertible facts illuminating reality.
