I like a good old fashioned rant like the one spider kicked off this tread with but it gets to be pretty grating when it's standard protocol over and over especially within one thread.

Tirades and rants... from the guy who liked the commercial. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Because...

You know what's funny? That nobody can explain to any sort of degree why in the hell anybody would be outraged by a commercial celebrating America.

Anyone want to take a stab at that?

I'm not angry but these kind of coke commercials annoy me a little bit, the way they try to tug at our sentimental heart strings to sell us a vile and extremely unhealthy substance to drink. As a kid, coke was my favorite drink and I was legit addicted. As I got older and decided to stop drinking it I went through withdrawal, but their commercials often bring up fond childhood memories and make me crave that garbage once again.

I always maintained I could tell the difference. Coke was sweeter and heavier, Pepsi crisper and lighter.
