No, that's not what happened.
I really don't want to get into this again, it was idiotic last time, it will be worse this time.
It centered around the pronunciation of the word taco.
Spider claimed that Spaniards don't pronounce the letter A in any way other than the way Americans pronounce taco, I countered that they do as I was speaking to them very recently at the time, and it became a protracted thread about pronunciation in which I posted proof using sound clips and spider posted written explanations of sounds.
Ultimately nothing was accomplished and I gave up, which is why I tried to stop it before it started again.
