Well, what all these reviewers got to do is STOP comparing a $199 device to a $600 device..
They got to stick to comparing the 7" Fire it to the $199 Google Nexus 7 and not the $600 iPads.

I don't like the fact that it's full of advertisements, or at least I got that impression from the NYT article.

I am a bit disappointed that Amazon wants $15 to shut of those Ads. They want people to spend $15 more for something you just spent $200 on? I know it's only $15, but the idea behind it is pretty weak.
Like I said my wife is making noise about wanting a tablet, IMO the Nexus 7 seems like a better tablet for what she wants to do. Too bad though, we do a lot of business with Amazon.
