There are definitely differences in men and women, and on average, you can see them pretty clearly. But it's just an average. The way I see it is like this: the difference between a man who is good at spatial problem-solving and a man who isn't is larger than the difference between the spatial skills of the average man and the average woman.
I mean, the entire point behind an education system is to teach people and to make them practice. The differences between men and women are not big enough to warrant gender roles, and they most certainly cannot be said to be outside the realm of betterment through practice.
