Education also includes indoctrination, like lockdown and searches. Yep, its more then ABCs and 123s nowadays. Fear everything and submission seems to be the message.
The hardest part of doing nothing is knowing when your done.

My college experience was much more fun than my high school experience. I found the workload comparable in both except in college I had unlimited freedom and was living with my friends.
Back on topic: This school is not the norm, a knife in your car would not get you in trouble at my HS. It is just poor judgment by the administrators in the previous case.
