Actually, Ukraine just isn't that important to agriculture. The EU produces 130 million tonnes of wheat annually. China is next at 125. India at 94. US at 60. France at 40. Russia at 40. Australia at 30. Canada at 30. Pakistan at 25. Germany at 22, Turkey at 20... And finally the Ukraine, at 15.
So, no, grain doesn't matter.
Your other point... I don't know what that means. Russia wants Crimea for prestige and cultural reasons, plus they want that naval base to be operational until the new one in an inferior location is done. Nothing at all to do with agriculture.
