This, as with most of Stratego's hypotheticals, is a total dumpster fire.

There is not one current geopolitical or social dynamic of mainland Europe that is in common with that of WW2. And in today's world, an entire continent going to war is a mind blowing political catastrophe with instant doomsday effects on every influential stock market, money market, trade relationship... everything.

The world would be reduced to ashes long before nukes came out
