What is ironic is that the western powers are complaining about the illegality of the referendum that the Crimean parliament is voting on whether or not to join Russia when the entire Ukrainian revolution was an illegal transfer of power. They want to have their cake and eat it too.

Was it illegal, though? Pretty sure their parliament has the authority to remove a nutjob president, much as ours does. Especially if he abandons his post and tries to flee to Russia. Correct me if I'm wrong.
