so it's been 20 years and obviously Russia is failing to keep up it's end of the bargain but the US and Russia agreed with the Ukraine in the trilateral agreement of 1994 that the Ukraine would give up its nukes in exchange for guarantees of their independence and to refrain from economic coercion
not acting is breaking the agreement. why should any nation, such as Iran, listen to the US when it tries to stop nuclear proliferation? when we agree to guarantee their independence and then back down when someone actually steps on it, what does that say about us and our word?
