of course, putin will once again claim it's not even his troops or something ridiculous, and that he's not bound by the agreement of 94 in which russia, the us, and the uk GUARANTEED ukraine's border integrity because it's a new government and he has no treaties or anything with it, so that means he can do whatever he wants to the ukraine, apparently. but the US and the UK need to abide by it, it's what made ukraine give up its nuclear weapons

I wonder if he seized that village because it feeds natural gas into Crimea? I don't know, the article mentioned it had a distribution center there, so maybe that was the thinking.

The only way I can see the West getting involved at this point (militarily) is if Ukraine decides to sacrifice their military to the Russians. You start seeing their troops being massacred and it might be enough to get the West involved.
