Also facts in my post(s).
-That Assange exhausted the legal system of Appeal in the U.K
-That both the U.K and Sweden have both signed and ratified the ECHR (its acted on a lot here, causing many a lulz and many a butthurt Tory backbencher).
-The ECHR expressly prohibits an extradition of an individual to a country with the death penalty for any charge that might carry the possibility of the death penalty (again, acted on several times before, most recently with a guy who's probably a terrorist being sent to Jordan was halted because of an appeal to the ECHR (the court, not the convention))
-That Assange broke his conditions of bail in the U.K by hiding in the Ecuadorian embassy.
-That only one of the sexual assault/rape charges was ever dropped.
I can go and cite all this for you if you want, but given that I presumed you'd be informed on the facts of the matter in this case JD I thought it unnecessary.
