Personally, I think we need to bring back the labour movement in a big, big way. Old school tactics - sit-ins, intimidation of scabs, union organizing, terrorizing the board of directors of these big companies, total solidarity amongst working people (no more middle class people attacking middle class people for being middle class).
That's probably the only way.

Also, when unions are active and functional with decent membership they can wield a lot of influence with campaign cash. It's really one of the only mechanisms by which plebs can be represented in the money aspect of politics.

Using guns would be the worst thing for any attempt to revive the labor movement. Unions have to repair their image as people currently think of them as thugs and crooks. Showing up with guns is the wrong move.
