You're going to hate this Galt, bit I think that's why conservatives in the US like Putin so much. Macho posturing means a lot to American conservatives and Putin is a master at that.

I also think that story reflects how insecure Putin is about Russia's place in the world.

I wouldn't be surprised if this coincided with Russian troops openly entering Ukraine.
